Winter ONEderland.

This weekend we celebrated Pootie's 1st birthday. I have been so excited about this party for months! I did some research when she was younger and came across the "Winter ONEderland" theme and fell in love with the idea! After Christmas, mom and I hit up the sales at Target (where else?!) and loaded up on decorations!

Saturday morning mom came over and helped me decorate and hang all 2 million snowflakes. Okay, there really wasn't 2 million but there may as well have been. Everything turned out exactly like I had hoped! Well, except her smash cake which turned into a giant mess but hey, she destroyed it anyways so it didn't matter.

She got alot of really cute outfits, some books, her first puzzle, a cute owl plate and cup (from big sissy) and granny and pop pop got her a bean bag. Clearly, she loves it! :)

She was a huge fan of her chocolate cake. I think she would have eaten all the icing if I let her! haha.

She did a good job making a mess and needed a bathy in the sink afterwards to get fresh and clean. :)

Everytime we get together, we like to get a picture of these 3 to see how much they've grown. Eva is 6 months, Eden is almost 4, and obviously Norah is 1 year. :)

I saw an idea on Pinterest (a.d.d.i.c.t.) for a baby shower and loved it and thought it was perfect for her party. I had everyone fill out these little questionaires and then I put them in her baby book for her to have when she grows up. My father in law prayed for Norah to start the party off, and though I got a tad weepy, I held it all together pretty well! Until, I decided to read everyone's answers after they had all gone home. I am so blessed by this sweet little girl and so blessed by all the love that everyone showed to her.

I loved the answers so much that I decided to pick one answer from each paper and post it for you guys to read. I won't name names but there are answers in here from everyone who filled one out. :)

I hope you learn.....from your mistakes.
I hope you aren't afraid......of spiders.
I hope you love...sister at all times.
I hope you give...your parents love, even when you're 13.
I hope you laugh...until your tummy hurts.
I hope you never forget...how much I love you.
I hope you become...a friend to those who need it most.
I hope you respect.....yourself. No tats!
I hope you grow...out of diapers soon for your mom's sake.

This first year with her has been amazing! She has changed our family so much and I can't wait to see what this year has in store for us!
